JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Move that bus!
A national bus tour called "Home Ownership Matters" is rolling into Jacksonville today to help educate consumers about the real estate market and changes that could be coming to the industry.
According to the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors, national leaders are looking at revamping finance regulations.?
?They fear the government could require homeowners to put down 20 percent on a home purchase, which NEFAR believes could take more than half of homebuyers out of the market.? ??
The bus tour is designed to raise awareness of the possible changes and let homeowners know about the homebuying process.
The bus will be at the Southpoint Marriott from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. and again from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. today.??
