Srinagar, Sep 12: The 7th District Budgam Badminton Championship organised by District Budgam Badminton Association semi-finals were played at Government Boys Middle School Budgam on Sunday.
In junior boys category, Sabir Suhaib beat Imtiyaz Hussain 21-8, 21-4 in first match while Muzaffer Hamdani beat Owais Shah 21-15 , 21-17 in second match.
In sub-junior boys singles, Farooq Reshi beat Iftikhar Ahmad 21-9, 21-8 in first match while Gazanfar Hussain beat Manzoor Bashir 21-12, 21-18 in second match.
In junior girls singles category Haneefa beat Mymoona 21-6, 21-10 in first match while in second match Fozia beat Ruksana 21-18 , 21-19. In mini boys singles Aqib beat Niyaz Ahmad 21-4, 21-10 in first match while Danish Firdous beat Sameer Ahmad 21-4, 21-6 in second match.
