Fort Campbell, KY ? Stay active and get to know members of your company by participating in the summer sports programs hosted by Family and Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) Sports and Fitness.
Sports include softball, dodge ball, sand volleyball, 10 miler qualifier, and post-wide softball championships. Through the upcoming months, Sports and Fitness will be hosting various sporting tournaments. These tournaments are open for battalion, individual, and company participation depending on the sporting event.
Hey batter-batter! Gather your company together and come get your swing of the bat on with softball; dodge, dip, dive, and duck with dodge ball; and spike it with sand volleyball. Softball begins June 13th with a registration deadline of June 6th.
Participants must register for dodge ball by June 10th and for sand volleyball by June 17th. The softball, dodge ball, and sand volleyball sports are also open to women who are valid military ID card holders, age 18 and older.
On August 1st the post-wide softball championship takes place. The post-wide softball championship is for the battalion level and has a registration deadline of July 25th. For those who wish to participate in individual sports there is a 10-mile road race qualifier that will take place on July 21st with a registration deadline of July 10th. Runners must be individuals who are 18 and older and active duty.
